Does it come with everything I need?
It comes with what the specification above lists. Seeds and nutrients are the usual extras, and we sell plant food separately.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. It is designed for indoor growing, which is the point of hydroponics in a climate where the seasons get in the way.
What can I grow in it?
Leafy greens and herbs do best: lettuce, basil, coriander, parsley, spinach and similar. Larger plants such as capsicum, tomatoes and cucumber need more room and more light.
Is hydroponic produce organic?
No, and we will not claim otherwise. What you do get is food you grew yourself, without soil.
Do I need a grow light as well?
It depends on where you put it. In a bright spot you may not; in a kitchen corner or through winter, a grow light is what makes indoor growing work. We sell both a clip-on lamp and light strips.
How much maintenance does it need?
Top up the water, keep the nutrient solution mixed to the instructions, and check the roots now and then. There is no weeding.
Is it noisy?

The tent is Oxford fabric on metal poles, double-stitched to keep light in. It is easy to put up, and it suits new and experienced growers. Choose 1.2 m x 1.2 m or 1.5 m x 1.5 m, both 2 m tall.
Ports: 5 vent ports for fans and ducting, 2 ground-level micro-mesh ports for air intake, and 2 cord ports to keep cables tidy. 3 zippered doors give easy access, and the large one has Velcro tape. A wide flap inside the zip stops light leaking out.
Lining: the inside walls are a reflective Mylar lining, which the supplier rates at 95% to 98% reflective. Reflective walls send more of your grow light back to the plants.
Construction: 600D Oxford fabric over a powder coated steel frame with PP corner connectors. 3 support bars inside take the weight of lights and fans.
Easy to put up and clean: no tools are needed. A removable floor tray catches spilled water or nutrient solution and lifts out for cleaning.
What is an indoor grow tent? A portable, enclosed space for growing indoors, with reflective walls, vents for airflow and bars to hang lights from. With a hydroponic system, a grow light and a fan inside, it gives your plants their own space for light, temperature and airflow. It can hold vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruiting plants.
